I miss blogging so much. Lately, I find myself stopping in here before I sign off the web just to "visit" and reminisce. Last week, I went into the archives and read old posts and comments, and enjoyed all over again the great discussions and "debate" that used to take place here.

I know at the time, blogging was still a new trend, and the re-connection that was taking place was unprecedented. Facebook has filled that reconnecting void for lots of people. Way more than blogging. But I still love blogging anyway.

There's been a serious case of writer's block around here.....found it hard to write about anything. I think the veil may be lifting though....and I hope to begin sharing some thoughts again. Not that you're waiting with bated breath or anything! It may just be more for my own sake.

For now, here's a quote from a book I was reading this morning: "God gets His best sailors from the roughest seas, and His fiercest soldiers from the toughest battles. God can use what you've experienced to bless others."

Blessings!

Welcome back :-) I tried facebook and had a lot of computer problems so I opted out. I may be one of the only one who still blogs regularly LOL. So if you ever get bored and miss blog reading, you can come visit me at my blog. (not guaranteeing great excitement though)

Welcome back to the blogesphere. As I've mentioned before I'm thinking more and more about relaunching my blog. I've just been tweaking at the new layout and letting a few thoughts bounce back and forth in the empty crevices of my brain. There's been so much hacking on FB...I find blogging safer and saner.

Tara,

I am not a blogger due to my work schedule and energy it would require to "fill the page". I must admit that I enjoy reading many of your blogs, your thoughts, ideas. Much has been inspirational and helpful. I am becoming more disenchanted with Facebook. I became involved because of a way to connect with some of the "younger" generation surrounding my life. However, I am growing to dislike it from a very personal level and look forward to the return of the bloggers. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Tara, good to see you back on your blog. I have every intention to try to catch up on blogging and continue to blog more frequently. We will see if this indeed happens! I loved your "risky" post and the debate that ensued. That is one reason I miss blogging!

I miss blogging, too, and yes, I always came to your blog anticipating good discussions! I actually lost computer access for a few months and then had too much stuff going on personally to be able to put words together to describe my feelings. Truthfully, I'm still in that spot..so facebook has been much easier for where I'm at. One thing I really loved about blogging was truly being inspired by friends sharing where they were at and how they were challenging their families to be Christ followers. You were/are one of those kind of blogging friends to me--so thanks Tara! I'd love to see you posting regularly again.

Would I be a horrible hypocrite to say you should blog more often? Even when I'm too crazy to blog myself I miss reading yours. So bring it on sister. Can't wait to hear more from you.
