Wonder if we would have any interest or ability to pull off a Bloggers Book Club? Just popped in my head today and I thought it might be interesting, albeit time-consuming. We could choose one book, read it, pick a specific date, and then share our thoughts and comments on it. Might be something to consider at some point.
Had lunch today at our local Japanese restaurant with my parents and grandparents. It's a wonderful hibachi grill where the food is prepared in front of you. The kids love it, and it was a real treat for us. Wish you all could have been there, too!

Neat idea! I just started a book club with some of my friends at church. We get to meet every Wednesday evening. We are reading 'A Woman After God's Own Heart' by Elisabeth George. I would be interested if it wasn't to deep! Ha! Ever read the short book 'For Women's Eyes Only'? Great book that every lady (married and non-married) NEEDS to read! It is very quick and easy reading and very good....can't say that I agree with everything but it did give me a few different tatics.
Dad's test came back today that he has a nodule on his thyroid. They are going to do a biospy. The doctor said that if it is cancer it is the "best" to have, because it can be removed. He also is going to have a knee replaced this winter! Please pray for him and my mom!

I'll have to check that book out; remember who the author is by any chance? I think it would be fun to try; and we could/should definitely start with something relatively simple to make it feasible for everybody.
I'm sorry to hear your dad is going through these issues. Hopefully there will be good news from the biopsy. We will pray.
